PROGRAM NOTE

For Meredith is a short piece for flexible ensemble, ideally with voices, that was written to open a minimalism retrospective at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton, Oregon, presented by the Oregon Symphony’s new music series, Open Music, which I founded and curate. It is dedicated to the great legacy of Meredith Monk.
